Hello my darling hunni bunnies!

I know I have some serious poetry writters among my watchers, and some who just LOVE poetry. And the news this journal is sprading is VERY intresting for you!
There is a new account for the December Form Challenge! Last year was massive, and it would be fantastic if it has a repeat. DFC is going to be a bit different this year, but I hope the changes made make you all excited and ready to take part in another challenging month of poetic inspiration The coordinators for this year event are
=kiwi-damnation a.k.a Sammy,
*IrrevocableFate a.k.a Steph and
=Renegade-Angel23 a.k.a Gen
Let's make this AWESOME!For anyone new to DFC, it was a challenge that spanned the whole month of December where poets were asked to write a poem each day using the form listed for that day. It was fantastic and there was a lot of poetry created. When it finished there were around 1200 pieces created for it. I'd love to see that amount of work this time around.
This year we are going to work off prompts for each day, and the reason for this was because some days of last year's event were too hard as we ran out of ideas to write about. So a prompt list has been created and THIS is what we are adhering to as a group.
The prompts were found and collaborated by none other than the magnificent
=Renegade-Angel23. She is awesome
Our prompt list is as follows:

The Forms of DFC '09 The form part of the challenge is different this year in that we are not setting specific forms for each day of December. This is because there are people who are absolutely insane with their fixed form torture regimens and people who haven't really touched fixed form at all before. To make sure that everyone is being challenged at their individual levels, I have created a list of 62 forms, which encompasses forms from many different nationalities and a variety of difficulty levels. With this list you are to choose your form for each day.
That doesn't mean you can do 31 sonnets and say you have completed DFC. Each form can only be used once. That way we are still doing a different form for each day, just with a lot more flexibility
Here is the form list and everything else you want to know regarding DFC!
DFC begins on the 1st of December 2009 at 12am GMT and ends this time again on the 1st of January 2010.

Stick to the prompt provided for that day.

Choose a form from the chart/list provided for you.

You can only choose each form once.

Like last year, you have 24 hours to complete each piece.

To be added to the list of participants featured in
~ProjectDFC and
=kiwi-damnation 's journal, you must note us to say you are participating.

Any piece submitted to dA as a part of the challenge should have a link to either
~ProjectDFC account or
=kiwi-damnation's account, or you can link the news articles.

Please also mention in your artist's comments which form you are doing, so people know.

Fun is something we are aiming for and cultivating more skill in poetry. Please enjoy and relish the challenge, it only comes around once a year .

So hunni bunnies, be sure to check it out and give it a go!
